“Porygon?” Porygon zoomed through the air around the ship, zipping back and forth as it investigated before ending up back at the computer. Probably a crashed smuggler vessel instead of the jammer. “I don’t think this is it,” Luke gestured to the loading screen which showed that the last time it had been turned on was last year. Luke examined the monitor and turned back to Porygon. Behind him Porygon floated, watching anxiously. A room, not much bigger than one of the rooms back home. The droid didn’t even move, the power obviously off for the machine. Luke jumped as a droid fell out of the door into the wrecked ship. “Porygon,” the normal Pokemon poked a recessed button on a part of the ship. This looked like it had been here for a while, not like a bunch of people who needed help from Grabbers or were the Grabbers themselves.

The wrecked small ship was partially buried in sand and parts were missing. “So, where are they?” Luke asked as he surveyed the crash site. Luke adjusted his course to Porygon’s instructions, increasing the throttle and flying off. Location of jammer: East 43 degrees, North 13 degrees. Porygon was using a dialect of Binary Luke wasn’t familiar with and some of the terms weren’t clear. Slowly, Luke pieced together what his Pokemon was saying. “Repeat from the beginning,” Luke ordered, slowing the speeder to better focus on what Porygon was saying. Probably would be able to communicate faster if there was a machine for Porygon to interface with but neither Luke nor the speeder had anything Porygon could use. Most droids would be able to say a sentence in the time it took for the Pokemon to say a word with higher end droids able to give a short speech. Porygon was trying to use its speech to communicate in Binary! Slowly, really slowly. Luke frowned as he guided the borrowed speeder, he intended to return it back, around a large rock outcropping which he hoped wasn’t an Onix foolish enough to sleep outside a cave. The Porygon pivoted back to upright, thinking before stuttering out. “What?” Luke asked, unable to understand. “Pory?” Porygon pivoted several angles through the air. “There’s a group of people being attacked by Grabbers somewhere between Mos Taika and here. “Porygon.” He nodded his rectangular head. “Porygon, can you scan for a radio signal?” He requested. Fortunate for him.Īha! Luke found Porygon’s Pokeball and pulled it out, releasing it onto the speeder.

He spotted several wild Pokemon look up as they heard him soar past on the speeder but nothing attacked him. Luke fumbled around his belt, eyes on the terrain around him. (Pokemon Roll, bonus from Porygon’s unique abilities, +20) Maybe it can scan for the source of the radio signal, or rather, the blank spot of a scrambler in use.
